According to Rabindranath Tagore, Woman is god’s best creation, she adds beauty and charm to every aspect of life with the power of generosity, adaptability, integrity, and toleration. She is a companion, a protector, and a provider; the epitome of love and affection. Women have a great part to play in the progress of our country, as the mental and physical reciprocity of women with life is much more comprehensive than that of men.

The role of a woman in a society is the foundation of its civilization and social accomplishment. Leaving behind the age-old inferiority complex and inequalities in our society women are marching side by side with men in every walk of life. Women are actually proving to be academically better and socially more active. And by encouraging their participation in different platforms we can make a stronger and better community.

They are contributing extensively towards the social transformation and building of the nation. Women are the real architects of society. It can be said with a sense of pride that the future of women in India is quite bright and prosperity will be safe in their hands. Hence, the rise of women in our society is not fall of men, when women rise they rise for all.

Rise of Women through actions not words:-

Women in Leadership:

Women are sensitive, loving, caring yet strong and enduring, may it be in any form they have been the continuing source of inspiration in the society. Modern women in the present-day achieved immense success in all the fields such as administration, sports, politics, arts, medicine, etc. From Indira Gandhi to Margaret Thatcher, Kalpana Chawla to Mother Teresa; women have left an unforgettable mark with their accomplishments not only in their nations but also at the international level.

In the modern-day women are leading in every field with an exemplary contribution. Be it Kiran Bedi, P T Usha, Dr. Padmavathi, Sushma Swaraj, or Medha Patkar; women have become renowned names in different fields because of their work. We can never forget, women’s participation in the freedom movement for our country as well, like Sarojini Naidu and Rani Laxmi Bai some of the leading women freedom fighters. Women have proved to be more dedicated, reliable, and excelling in every field with their ability to completely immerse themselves in any task they undertake.

Women in Healthcare:

As in other sectors, the contribution of women in the healthcare industry is impactful and significant. Women are responsible for 70–80% of all the healthcare provided in India and close to 70% of the Global Healthcare Workforce. Female healthcare providers play an important role in educating society to recognize their wellness and health needs; with impactful decisions and participation in shaping communities and building a healthy society. It has been found that in the field of healthcare women due to their naturally delicate nature and tender hearts, are better doctors and nurses.

As it is admirably said, “A woman’s voice is a cure and her touch a balm”. In the battle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Women stood at the front lines as health care workers, caregivers, teachers, community organizers, and many more prominent roles in combating the pandemic crisis and recovery from the COVID-19.

While gender inequalities remain in our society, women have secured a sturdy presence that has surely exceeded men in many platforms and most importantly education. Women now beat men academically at all levels of schools, degree colleges, business schools, etc. Women writers like Mahashweta Devi, Arundhati Roy, and Sobhaa De have established their names in the modern world and contributed to the literacy excellence of the nation.

Not just with difficult academics such as engineers, doctors, and lawyers, educated women in India today are very keen on taking up administration work as officers, typists, clerks, and receptionists. We are amazed to see the fantastic work Women are doing on all platforms with their knowledge and hard work.

Women in Technology:

The Tech industry offers enough possibilities to those who use their skills as Tech jobs are fun, creative by nature, limitless, and open to varying skills around the globe. Women think differently than men, thus offer more ideas and creativity to a global marketplace. Diversity in thought and creation offers amplified competition and exceptional innovation.

By getting involved in these growing industries women can use critical thinking skills, inner creativity; combined with technical expertise to create their success path. The tech sector has been considered a male-dominated industry. To close this gender gap, society needs to encourage more women to enter into professional industries, such as technology. This will highlight value and change perceptions of women’s contributions to the tech industry globally.

Women have been playing a significant and crucial role in agricultural development in our country for ages as silent contributors.

The nature and extent of women’s involvement in agriculture vary from region to region. But regardless of these variations, women are actively involved in various agricultural activities.
